Sustainability in Action at Slavia Praha Swimming Stadium

Sustainability in Action at Slavia Praha Swimming Stadium

02/25/2026

At the end of February, we started the instalation at one of the most important sports facilities in the capital of the Czech Republic – the Slavia Praha Swimming Stadium.

This swimming complex welcomes children and adults from across Prague every day for swimming lessons and professional training. It is now taking a significant step toward sustainability thanks to REWAT technology. Within just a few weeks, young athletes can look forward to a more sustainable, more efficient, and safer environment for their training.

Thank you for your trust!

MELORI Aqua & Spa: A New Standard in Sustainable Wellness

MELORI Aqua & Spa: A New Standard in Sustainable Wellness

01/27/2026

On January 31, 2026, Resort MELORI Aqua & Spa will welcome its first visitors and immediately rank among the most sustainable wellness resorts in Europe. From the very beginning, the project has been designed with a strong focus on reducing water and energy consumption while maintaining the highest level of comfort for visitors.

REWAT has been involved in the project from its early stages, delivering advanced technologies for swimming pool water recycling, automation of pool operations, and energy-efficient solutions including heat recovery across the entire facility. Thanks to this integrated approach, MELORI Aqua & Spa sets a new benchmark for sustainable and responsible wellness operations in Europe.

New project in Zábreh

New project in Zábreh

12/16/2025

We didn’t slow down at the end of the year. Just before Christmas, the city of Zábřeh received a new pool water recycling project.
The REWAT technology will recycle backwash water from both the indoor year-round pool and the outdoor pool during the summer season.

The result? Lower drinking water consumption, reduced energy costs, and a more efficient and sustainable pool operation—creating space for further development and modernization of the facility.

We’re excited to announce the upcoming installation of the REWAT OT20 technology, capable of recycling up to 20 m³ of pool wastewater per day.
The Třinec City Swimming Pool is joining the growing group of facilities who have chosen to embrace sustainability and operational savings with our REWAT technology.

Next Step Towards Sustainability: Pool Water Recycling in Hotels

Next Step Towards Sustainability: Pool Water Recycling in Hotels

08/20/2025

We are heading to a congress and sports hotel in Prague, where our solution will support operations towards sustainability and responsible water management.

Thanks to continuous development, the REWAT technology now makes it possible to efficiently recycle even smaller volumes of water, making it an ideal choice for hotel and wellness facilities.

Within this project, we will significantly reduce drinking water consumption, energy costs, and the chemical load of pool water – which is more than desirable in a top-class relaxation and sports facility.

We have started the installation of our recycling technology in the newly built luxury wellness area of the Dolní Morava Mountain Resort. In this unique mountain environment, where resource conservation is of paramount importance, we save up to 80 m³ of water per day (more than 29 million liters per year). By recycling, we significantly reduce the consumption of drinking water, reduce the burden on sewage and wastewater treatment plants, and save energy by ensuring that water does not lose heat.

We save as much water every day as Mikulov consumes

We save as much water every day as Mikulov consumes

02/19/2025

Mikulov has 7,630 inhabitants who consume approximately 687,000 liters of drinking water per day. The same amount is saved daily by public swimming pool operators who have installed REWAT pool water recycling technology. With an efficiency of more than 90%, REWAT recycles all the waste water from the washing of pool filters and returns it to the pool circuits without heat loss or the use of chemicals.

How much CO₂ do we save by recycling water?

How much CO₂ do we save by recycling water?

01/22/2025

Did you know that producing 1 m³ of pool water and heating it to 26°C can produce up to 7.83 kg of CO₂ if you use electricity to heat it? If we use gas, it is still 4.57 kg CO₂/m³. A public swimming pool uses tens of cubic meters of water and thousands of kilograms of CO₂ every day just to ensure clean and warm water for visitors. With REWAT technology, we can not only recycle up to 90% of pool water, but also reduce emissions to a minimum. Recycling eliminates the need for new water production as well as unnecessary heating to higher temperatures. Every liter of recycled water not only saves precious natural resources but also our planet. This is a future worth fighting for!

11/08/2024

Another recycling line has been in operation for several months in Tabor. The technology was installed as part of the reconstruction of the swimming pool. We save up to 65 000 liters of drinking water per day, which would otherwise be needed to refill our customers' pools due to hygiene regulations.

After the successfully completed implementation in Ostrava, we moved straight to Františkovy Lázně, where the implementation of another REWAT recycling line was started. This time we will not only recycle wash water from pool filters. Thanks to innovative technology, our equipment will also contribute to a significant improvement in pool water quality and comfort.

The largest recycling line in AQUALAND MORAVIA

07/26/2023

A few days ago we completed the implementation of the largest pool water recycling line in the Czech Republic. Aqualand Moravia saves 250 m³ of filling water every day by recycling the wash water from the sand filters using REWAT technology. Excluding heat losses, Aqualand Moravia recycles almost 90,000,000 liters of water per year, which corresponds to the consumption of drinking water in the Czech Republic in 5 days. We thank the most modern Aquapark in the Czech Republic for their trust and cooperation.
